What we need in a nutshell

We need someone to look after our tourer guests on the park, dealing with guest enquiries, being on call at night and ensuring the touring park is safe, clean and well run so that guests enjoy every moment of their break. You’ll be living on the park, so this a great opportunity for a couple or a two person-team who want to escape to the coast while enjoying a satisfying job or being on your own would work for us too.

Who are we?

We’re a dynamic and growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday at our award-winning UK resorts. East Fleet Farm is an award-winning holiday park in an idyllic location on the shores of Fleet Lagoon overlooking Chesil Beach. Here, our guests relax, enjoy nature and soak up the views. Want to find out more about our holidays? Check out our website: http://www.awayresorts.co.uk.

What you’ll be doing

Staying in a pitch in your own tourer, you’ll be the evening contact for guests who book into our touring park and you’ll be there for them throughout their stay to make the guest experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. This includes:

  • Working with other departments to ensure the touring park is well-presented and well-run, including facilities cleaning and maintenance and grounds daily – maintenance and grounds is a longer season for one person.
  • Being the ‘go to’ contact for guests and helping them with any needs they may have whilst on site
  • Being responsible for out of hours security and being on-call at night for emergencies
  • Reminding guests who are noisy or acting inconsiderately of our terms and conditions and encouraging them to act with consideration for the enjoyment of other guests

One more thing…holidays happen at holiday times, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need

Ideally, we’d like a two-person team with experience as wardens on a busy touring park, who can demonstrate the following:

  • A strong customer service ethos
  • Great organisational and communication skills
  • A friendly approach with the confidence to be assertive when required
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team
  • Able to think on your feet, solve problems work under pressure with a smile
  • Experience of dealing with security issues

It’s the icing on the cake if you have a range of general maintenance skills.

We have a can-do, people-centred ethos at Away Resorts, and we look for certain qualities in our team members. Have a read about it and see if you fit the bill.

What we can offer you

This is a rewarding role and we look after you with a great range of benefits, including:
