Finance Manager – Owner Billing

Job Type – Full-time, Fixed Term (12 months)

Location – Central Support, Hemel Hempstead with some travel to parks

You’ll own and lead the owner billing process at Away Resorts, ensuring accurate, timely and high-quality billings every cycle. You’ll play a key role in improving processes and systems, supporting finance transformation, and delivering clear, confident communication that builds trust with our owner community.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the end-to-end preparation and delivery of owner billings, including service charges, utilities, water, rates, amenity charges and ground rent
  • Take ownership of owner billing timetables, ensuring accurate, compliant and on-time delivery every cycle
  • Resolve historical billing issues and drive practical solutions to improve quality, efficiency and consistency
  • Develop and maintain owner balance sheet and cashflow reporting as part of the monthly close and analysis
  • Drive automation and process improvements across owner billing and financial reporting to reduce risk and increase efficiency
  • Improve reporting and insight on owner billing to support better commercial and operational decision-making
  • Own and develop clear, professional billing communications for the owner community.
  • Lead, develop and coach your direct report, building capability, resilience and progression within the finance team
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across Parks, Owners, Operations, FP&A, Central Support and the wider business
  • Act as a trusted, results-focused leader who promotes continuous improvement, knowledge sharing and high standards.

Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience leading or developing finance teams within a medium to large organisation
  • Strong background in financial reporting, controls and balance sheet ownership
  • Highly organised and analytical, with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working under pressure and delivering high-quality output to tight deadlines
  • Excellent communicator, able to clearly explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders
  • Positive, professional and high-energy, with a collaborative and supportive working style.

It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential if you have experience in the leisure and hospitality sector.
