We are looking for Retail Assistants to join us for our 2026 season in the shop. It is a fast-paced busy environment, selling everything from the basics to toys and souvenirs. Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided.

A can-do attitude, attention to detail and excellent people skills are essential. Being available to work evenings and weekends including bank holidays are also essential.

What you will be doing

We need someone who understands that a first-class guest experience is an essential part of their stay at Tattershall Lakes. Here are some of the things you will be doing:

  • Meeting and greetings guests with a friendly welcome

·         Ensuring team are all looking after our guests

·         Ensuring restocking at the end of a shift

·         Complying with all the legal requirements

·         Serving on your own, or within a team

·         Replenishing shelves and facing up

·         Helping bring in deliveries

·         Basic cooking of pastries and bread

·         Keeping your area clean, tidy, and well-stocked

·         Generally making sure everybody is having a great time

And who knows what else you may find yourself doing. If you are happy to help even when it is ‘not your job,’ you are our sort of person.

Skills, experience, and qualities you will need

We have high standards! We will train you up, but you must:

  • Have customer service experience and skills
  • Relish the fast pace of a busy shop
  • Be someone who does things without needing to be asked
  • Be a people person; easy to talk to and never happy until your guests are
  • Have experience of working in a team

  • Experience in a busy retail environment.
  • A good knowledge of retailing
  • Experience of working in the holiday sector
