We are now recruiting for our 2024 summer season across various roles on our beautiful Lincolnshire based holiday park, join our large team of hospitality professionals today.

About the role

We’re looking for a kitchen assistant who can deliver delight to our holiday resort guests. You will be helping the kitchen team to run a safe, efficient and profitable food and beverage operation. Experience is not necessary as full training will be provided. A can-do attitude and attention to detail are essential. Being available to work evenings and weekends including bank holidays are also essential.

Working in any one of our 3 amazing venues.

Spitfire is our largest venue boasting up to 1500 covers a day in busy periods. Spitfire offers a pub classics style menu using fresh ingredients and all made in house. Spitfire offers breakfast, lunch and dinner menus.

Propeller is a fully serviced a la carte restaurant, serving a variety of Mediterranean dishes from pasta to pizza and steaks. Propeller offers and lunch and dinner menus.

Catch 22 is our on-site fish and chip shop. Brand new in 2022, top 40 for fish and chip shop takeaways in the UK for 2023. Delivering High quality, sustainable fish, chips and much more to owners and guests alike.

What you will be doing

You will be working in the engine room of the kitchen ensuring guests receive a memorable experience through excellent service and food quality.

  • Prepping and cooking in all areas of the kitchen.
  • Ensuring presentation of menu items to a high standard.
  • Ensuring the food preparation areas, equipment and floors are clean and hygienic.
  • Accepting deliveries, ensuring ingredients are stored correctly and date rotated.
  • Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare other items on the menu.
  • Work alongside front of house and kitchen team to maximise food margins and minimise wastage.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and COSHH regulations

Skills, experience, and qualities you will need. Nice to have but not essential.
