Education & Early Years Placement Tutor Assessor
Full Time 37 Hours Per Week Monday to Thursday 8.30-5pm, Friday 8.30-4.30pm.
Annual Salary £26,894 - £31,148 (depending on qualifications and experience).
Are you passionate about shaping the future of Early Years professionals? Bishop Burton College is seeking a dedicated Education & Early Years Placement Tutor Assessor to support and assess students within our Higher Education department.
About the Role
As a Placement Tutor Assessor, you will be responsible for guiding students through their Education & Early Years qualifications, ensuring they gain practical experience and meet national standards. You will assess learners in workplace settings, build relationships with employers, and provide essential feedback to support student progress.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least a Level 3 Childcare qualification (Level 5 desirable).
- Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in Early Years Education or a related field.
- A TAQA Assessor qualification (or equivalent, e.g., A1/D32/D33).
- Experience assessing in an educational setting (T-Level experience desirable).
- A willingness to travel locally and out of area.
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent IT skills and the ability to learn new systems.
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
