Bishop Burton College is looking for a passionate and committed Health & Social Care professional who is ready to take the next step in their teaching career.
This role is ideal for someone who is already teaching or training in the sector, perhaps as a Lecturer, Instructor, Trainer, or Tutor within a college, school, training provider, or adult learning setting. You may currently be delivering Health & Social Care qualifications at Level 2 and Level 3, supporting learners through coursework, preparing them for assessments, and playing an active role in shaping their future progression.
Alternatively, you may be a practising professional—such as a Nurse, Social Worker, Midwife, Allied Health Professional, or experienced support worker—who has begun mentoring, supervising, or training staff or students and is now looking to move fully into education. You’ll bring a strong understanding of the industry, a desire to share your expertise, and genuine motivation to help young people succeed.
You’ll join our Creative, Care and Business department, where you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support learners pastorally and academically, manage progress and behaviour, and contribute to course development and quality processes. You’ll be someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team, communicates well with young people, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality learning experience.
If you are enthusiastic, resilient, and ready to make a real difference to the next generation of health and social care professionals, we would love to hear from you.
