Regional Campaign Manager

Join the Conservative Campaign Headquarters as a Regional Campaign Manager in the Midlands and East Anglia.

Are you ready to lead from the front in one of the most pivotal roles in our campaign operation?

As a Regional Campaign Manager, your core responsibility will be to design, lead, and deliver impactful campaigns across the Midlands. You will take ownership of campaign strategy and execution, ensuring every element is aligned with our objectives and tailored to local needs.

This is a digital-first role, where innovation, data-driven decision-making, and modern campaigning techniques are at the heart of everything you do.

Role responsibilities

  • Your priority is ensuring national campaign strategies and policies are adhered to and delivered.
  • Building a strong relationship with MPs/Candidates, Group Leaders and Association officers so you are a trusted port of call for political and campaigning advice and support.
  • Support Campaigns whether that is locally employed staff, local government councillors and candidates, Association officers and activists in producing and delivering their pre-regulated period campaign plan.
  • Being responsible for driving improvement in the quantity and quality of campaigning activity in the target constituencies or allocated local government campaigns by building capacity through training and agreed KPI’s.
  • Working with the MPs/Candidates and Group Leaders on their campaigning strategy and single-issue campaigns and ensuring maximum political benefit and data capture from these campaigns.
  • Be the professional responsible for campaign literature and digital plans and products. Including ensuring projects are completed on time and to a high standard. Develop the skills of locally employed staff, local government councillors and candidates, Association officers and activists in producing these items and ensure the production meets agreed set deadlines.
  • Liaise between locally employed staff, local government councillors and candidates, Association officers and activists and the Digital team to ensure digital campaigning is embedded into the campaign plan and implemented.
  • Lead from the front. Personally lead a campaign session, training campaign staff as required in the agreed areas of political focus

Professional experience and qualifications

  • Had a leading role in at least one General Election campaigns; either as part of the CCHQ Campaigning Department or employed by a Conservative Party Association, Federation or Grouping.
  • Had a leading role in at least one multi-stakeholder election (e.g. PCC Election).
  • Has good understanding and experience of CCHQ structure, processes and dedicated campaigning methods, data bases and digital procedures.
  • Has completed, successfully, all training units required of them whilst a CCHQ employee.
  • Experience of digital campaigns and understand why they were successful or weren’t.
  • A sound knowledge of current affairs and political awareness is essential.
