CORPORATE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE (fixed-term - maternity cover) | £28,600 per annum, pro rata

Hybrid role with both office and home-working

This is an exciting opportunity within our Corporate Events team for a highly motivated individual to join us as Corporate Account Executive on a secondment opportunity covering maternity leave from August 2025 to June 2026.

In this role you will support the Corporate Events team to achieve and exceed sales targets, through effective enquiry management and conversion.

Working alongside other Corporate Account Executives, your responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with our revenue optimisation team and operational teams on village to place business strategically and effectively into our two UK conference centres
  • Creating accurate proposals and distributing to clients
  • Achieving and exceeding sales and enquiry handling KPIs
  • Providing accurate, relevant and timely market intelligence on competitor activity and pricing where necessary
  • Building and maintaining strong communication links with internal and external stakeholders
  • Attending sales meetings and account visits as requested along with attendance at key village site visits as necessary

Excellent communication skills will be key and an excellent telephone manner is essential, along with a confident approach in dealing with people. You will also enjoy systems and processes and have excellent time management skills.

Previous experience of working in events is desirable.

HOURS OF WORK

This is an internal secondment opportunity to cover maternity leave from August 2025 to June 2026.

You will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period (37.5 hours per week). Normal working hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. However, dynamic working is available whereby the earliest start time is 7am and the latest finish time is 7pm.

Please note, this role will be hybrid with a mixture of office and home-working.

ABOUT YOU

Essential requirements:

  • Intermediate Microsoft office experience
  • Maths and English to Grade C GCSE level or equivalent
  • Written and spoken customer service experience
  • Team-player
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail driven
  • Self-motivated

Desirable requirements:

  • Negotiation skills
  • Use of TourRes and / or CABS
  • Previous Events experience
  • Knowledge of the Center Parcs brand and villages
