Piano/keyboards and Piano workshop Tutors (Talent Bank)
Location: Covent Garden, London.
Salary: £38.72 per hour, inclusive of pro rata holiday entitlement and preparation time.
Hours of Work: City Lit has piano / keyboards classes daytime Mondays to Saturdays and evenings Mondays to Thursdays.
About the role
Are you a dynamic and creative teacher of piano/keyboards? Then join us to help teach on our wide range of piano/keyboards and piano workshop classes, to inspire students in their musical development.
We are seeking tutors to join the Talent Bank to provide cover when existing tutors are unable to teach their regular weekly classes.
You will be inducted teaching in the Keyboards and Piano classrooms, and receive ongoing support from the Music team, particularly the Co-ordinator for Piano and Keyboards, and be expected to collaborate with a variety of staff and students.

- A qualification and/or equivalent experience relevant to the subject being taught
- Up to date knowledge and enthusiasm and interest for the subject.
- Experience of teaching adults in a relevant area.
- Ability to support students to overcome barriers to learning and inspire students to achieve.
- Understanding and experience of promoting equality and diversity, safeguarding, health and safety as appropriate to the role.
