Role Overview

Crowe UK is embarking on a bold, enterprise-wide transformation to deliver its 2030 strategy. As part of this journey, we are modernising our finance function to become a strategic, data-driven enabler of performance analytics and data-led decision-making.

Reporting directly to the COO, the Finance Transformation Programme Lead will scope, initiate and deliver a comprehensive finance transformation programme — covering systems, data, processes, automation and capability uplifts. This role will operate within a small, high-calibre transformation team and will work closely with the Enterprise PMO, Heads of operating functions, and other strategic workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

Driving Finance Transformation  

  • Work closely with the COO, managing end-to-end delivery of the finance transformation programme.
  • Define and deliver a modernised finance operating model aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness within finance operations. 
  • Deliver capability enhancements within the finance function, ensuring it becomes ever-more capable of delivering rapid commercial insights and performance analytics.
  • Guide the organisation through periods of significant change, ensuring a smooth transition to, and adoption of, new systems, capabilities, processes and ways of working.

Systems & Data Modernisation

  • Capture and prioritise finance data and capability requirements.
  • Support the selection, design, implementation and adoption of new finance systems.
  • Oversee legacy data migration and ensure integrity, usability and accessibility.

Process Engineering & Automation

  • Map current-state processes and design future-state workflows.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency.
  • Embed continuous improvement and operational excellence principles.

Strategic Enablement

  • Ensure finance MI and analytics are directly aligned to strategic KPIs and decision-making needs.
  • Ensure the finance function effectively supports and integrates with broader business goals and strategies.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, People, Risk and Tech teams to integrate finance into the wider enterprise data strategy.
  • Support the development of real-time performance dashboards and predictive analytics.
  • Provide clear, data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making at all levels. 

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Engage senior stakeholders across the Firm to ensure alignment and buy-in.
  • Provide regular updates, insights and recommendations to the COO, Enterprise PMO and Transformation Steering Group.

Experience & Skills Required

  • Proven track record of leading finance transformation programmes in professional services or similar complex environments.
  • Deep expertise in finance systems, data migration, process automation and operational improvement.
  • Strong understanding of finance analytics, performance MI and strategic enablement.
  • Experience working within enterprise transformation programmes with multiple interdependencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, finance data architecture and automation tools.
