About Crowe

Crowe is a leading national firm offering audit, tax, advisory, and consulting services with global reach and local expertise. As an independent member of Crowe Global, one of the top 10 accounting networks worldwide, we have access to over 40,000 professionals across 140+ countries and more than 800 offices globally.

Our vision is to be a leader in our chosen markets, creating lasting value for our clients and our people and being a trusted partner in their success.

We are dedicated to driving client success, empowering our people, embracing sustainability, delivering technological change and acting in the public interest.

The team

The VAT team at Crowe is a National one which means we work as a single team but spread across the 7 UK offices.  Our VAT team includes Customs specialists and we work closely together as one regardless of our regional location.  In addition to working together, we support and work alongside the other Crowe service lines to provide multi-discipline solutions for our clients.

The Crowe team is broadly focussed towards two main areas, those being the Corporate and Not for Profit (NFP) sectors.  At a junior level there is involvement across both these which means joiners gain an insight to multiple areas of VAT such as property and construction, manufacturing, consumer goods, not-for-profit and charities, professional partnerships and financial services.  At a senior level the team are more focussed towards NFP or Corporate clients.

The team has grown rapidly over the past few years, doubling headcount and revenues.  This growth has occurred evenly across compliance and advisory work and includes, as a result of Brexit, an increase in working with the Crowe international network on cross-border client projects.
