Our Forensics team in London is growing. We are looking for Senior Manager or Associate Director looking for a change of pace to join a well-established national team with ambitious growth plans.  This role will be predominantly disputes focused and the individual will be required to help support in the team’s marketing and business development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for the day to day activities of expert witness and advisory assignments including team, client and other stakeholder management. 
  • Performing detailed and complex analysis including financial models and using industry tools to perform supporting analysis. 
  • Drafting client deliverables to the highest standards and supervising more junior team members’ work whilst ensuring their own development. 
  • To input into the team’s longer-term strategy, implement and support effective marketing and business development activities to help with the growth of the individual and wider team
  • To focus on the development of the technical capability of the Team to meet client needs and to support and actively contribute to business development activities.
  • Assist in delivering on the team’s business plan, setting out clear objectives and targets to ensure the team is effectively utilised and the strategy is delivered.

Requirements:

  • A senior forensic accountant with significant experience of managing multiple complex expert witness projects.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of the sector – proactively strengthening knowledge in new trends and risks.
  • Proven record of growing, leading and motivating a team to deliver forensic and investigative services.
  • Is actively involved in business development
  • Proven track record of providing exceptional service and establishing and maintaining strong relationships at a senior level.
  • Track record of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Embrace service excellence and apply this consistently to your role.
  • Experience of leading people development, supporting the skills and knowledge progression of junior members of the team through coaching, supervision and feedback.

The Successful Applicant

  • Qualified accountant with expertise in a forensic accounting role.
  • Expertise in managing complex financial expert witness and advisory projects from start to finish, involving high volumes of material.
  • Significant expertise in investigating complex financial data and drafting deliverables in a coherent and concise format.
  • Proven track record of contributing to business development activities and enhancing client relationships. 
  • Has people development at the heart of what they do and cares about the success of others. 
  • Experience of quantification of loss in large commercial claims and of non-contentious or contentious business valuations.
