Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the M-Files Product Manger as part of the Innovation & Technology team, the overall purpose of the role is to consult directly with different areas of the business and support them in developing their business processes with the use of our document management system M-Files.
- Working with the Client Solutions team on the design and development of effective solutions within M-Files to support the optimisation of processes for our internal teams / clients to aid efficiency
- Supporting the DMS team in the evaluation and delivery of a programme of continuous improvement and enhancement for M-Files
- Promoting the application and its capabilities via written blog posts, how to videos and where suitable, face to face training sessions
The role will take into account the firms agile working policy with a primarily office based in one of Crowe’s current offices.
Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Work with the Client Solutions and DMS project team to:
- design and develop workflow solutions in M-Files
- make and maintain other necessary configuration changes in the M-Files admin tool, as part of the DMS solutions developed
- Document developed solutions and maintain a change request log for all solutions
- Routinely monitor the information made available by M-Files for their customers via their website, webinars etc to track their development progress of the product and share any relevant findings with the DMS Project and Client Solutions teams.
- Provide ideas, improvements and innovation wherever possible to the future development of the M-Files application
- Promoting the application and its capabilities via written blog posts, how to videos and where suitable, face to face training sessions
- Provide technical and operational support to both the IT helpdesk and Client Solutions teams to help resolve user issues
Requirements:
- Problem solving and logical thinking
- Strong attention to detail
- A mindset to explore what is possible within the application and experiment ideas
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office365
- Display energy and enthusiasm and a focus on achieving results
- A keenness to further your own personal development and career goals
Desirable:
- Knowledge of metadata based document management
- Understanding of software development and how programming can be utilized in implementations
- Experience in analyzing customer and business requirements
- Experience in documenting and presenting specifications
- Knowledge of basic code apps like Json & HTML
