Role Purpose

To assist the business with creating billing in respect to all fee invoices and credit notes, ensuring billings are complete, timely and accurate.

Core Responsibilities 

  • Process any credit note requests from the business, within the credit control function
  • Assist with client billings as directed by Partners and ensure that PDF invoices are created within the billing system. Review and liaise with Partners on any billings that have not been processed to ensure alignment with client communications through Apxium
  • Ensure that billing processes align with engagement letters and quotes, pricing strategies and accounting policies
  • Set up any automatic billings where applicable
  • Review billing processes for efficiency and control weaknesses and implement improvements were possible
  • Assist with the maintenance of Client standing data
  • Undertake ad hoc tasks as required from time to time to assist in the general running of the department

Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working in a finance team
  • Strong customer service focus and the ability to build effective working relationships within the credit control team, other employees, partners and external clients
  • Attention to detail and identifying discrepancies
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and to process deadlines
