Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially minded Corporate Finance Assistant Manager to join our London Transaction Services team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery and management of financial due diligence assignments, as well as Reporting Accountant work on IPOs and subsequent circulars in connection with UK and international capital markets transactions.
This role is suited to an individual with 1–2 years’ prior transaction services or corporate finance experience, who is ready to take increased ownership of workstreams, support junior team members, and act as a key day‑to‑day contact for clients and advisers.
M&A / Transaction Services Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution and delivery of transaction services engagements
- Take ownership of key analytical workstreams (e.g. EBITDA, net debt, working capital)
- Prepare and manage information request lists and liaise with management teams
- Review and validate financial information received
- Draft financial due diligence reports, including key findings and risks
- Act as a day‑to‑day client and adviser contact
- Support and review the work of Executive‑level team members
Capital Markets Responsibilities
- Support IPO and post‑IPO Reporting Accountant engagements
- Analyse historical financial performance and financial projections
- Prepare and review long‑form and working capital reports
- Participate in meetings with clients and professional advisers
Requirements
- ACA qualified (or equivalent)
- 1–2 years’ experience in Transaction Services or Corporate Finance
- Strong analytical, accounting and report‑writing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
