We are dedicated to driving client success, empowering our people, embracing sustainability, delivering technological change and acting in the public interest.

The team

Crowe is looking for a dynamic school leaver to join our Cheltenham team. Our Business Solutions Group is a close-knit department wishing to expand due to growth and we’re currently looking for the right individual to join us.

Our team assists clients with their day-to-day accounting and tax issues, including accounts preparation, corporation tax returns, company secretarial, bookkeeping and VAT. The role is varied and will keep the right person busy and engaged, whilst providing a launch for your future career.

We are looking for someone who wants to develop themselves within the workplace and personally, dealing with face-to-face contact with clients, and learning an entire spectrum of skills that will be of benefit to you in any accounting environment. You will be a key member of the team from day one and will get involved with client work, developing your strengths to add to our growing team.

The role

Whilst undertaking the school leaver business solutions group assistant position, you will complete a 4-year apprenticeship training contract, where you will study towards the AAT/ACA qualification, providing the foundations for your development and giving you the qualifications and tools you need to succeed in your career.

Our entry requirements

  • BBC (or 112 UCAS points) from three A Levels (or equivalent)
  • GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and English Language

The ability to travel to clients and other offices is essential for the role, and a full UK driving license is preferred. Throughout your training programme, you will also be required to attend off-site external training, where overnight stays are necessary.

The person

Your application will not be based on academic performance alone. You will be required to demonstrate the strengths and qualities which underpin our core values, including personal drive, integrity and teamwork.

If you do not meet all the entry requirements, you may still be considered if the rest of your application is strong. If you have any extenuating circumstances that you believe we should consider, and you are comfortable sharing, please let our recruitment team know and this will be looked at alongside your application.
