Key Responsibilities

The role will require the individual to:

Post

  • Incoming post to be date stamped scanned and put onto M Files for relevant people/departments.
  • Posting outgoing mail and parcels using an online portal with Royal Mail.
  • Arranging couriers via an online portal with City Sprint.

Printing

  • Printing, photocopying, collating, and binding as and when required.
  • Stationery orders and distribution to include regional offices?
  • Dealing with any problems arising from faulty equipment, especially photocopiers, including arranging repairs with relevant engineers
  • Ensure paper for photocopiers are replenished on a regular basis
  • Replacing photocopier toners as and when required
  • Invoicing, stationery recharges, raising purchase orders, checking stock levels.
  • Cover the facilities manager, in his absence and daily after 3pm.
  • Liaising with suppliers
  • To order printing requirements (e.g. business cards, headed paper etc) for both London & regional offices.

  • The ability to establish good rapport with clients (internal and external), provide excellent service with great quality work and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with an approachable and professional manner
  • Ability to demonstrate core values in every aspect, attention to quality and detail, professionalism and relationships
  • Work effectively within a team environment
  • Ability to use own initiative and think independently to resolve issues
  • Ability to deal with challenges and change, remaining engaged, resilient and motivated
  • Effective time management skills, with an enthusiastic and “can-do” approach
  • Act with integrity and honesty
  • Excellent IT capability and understanding of the application of IT systems to improve work practices

Hours

9.00am – 5.00pm 35 Hr week with some flexibility required from time to time (between 7am and 5.00pm)
