As a consultant specialising in AI enabled change, you will play a key role in helping organisations design, implement and embed transformative solutions that utilise AI driven tools, methods and models alongside wider operational excellence tools and methods, to improve operational efficiency, reduce cost, enhance decision making and drive competitive advantage.

You will work collaboratively with clients and cross functional teams to ensure that initiatives are technically sound and practically aligned to deliver tangible and measurable business outcomes.

You will have:

  • 3 – 5 years hands on experience in one or more functional areas ideally within the wider financial services or insurance sectors; or at small, medium or larger consulting firms; or in-house business transformation teams
  • Functional expertise in one or more areas including but not limited to Finance, HR, operations, risk, claims, fraud, underwriting or customer services
  • Demonstrated experience of delivering change and operational excellence projects with an added focus on Artificial Intelligence, automation or data driven transformation
  • Have hands of experience or be familiar with operating model design and implementation or related concepts
  • A working understanding of AI concepts, tools and methodologies with the ability to bridge technical, operational and wider business needs and perspectives
  • Strong analytical skills with experience of using data and AI related tools to support decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Some wider expertise in areas such as Data & Visualisation, Lean-Agile, Process Transformation, Organisation Design, Post-Merger Integration, Change Management, Cost Reduction, and Operating Model Transformation
  • Experience of writing proposals or preparing reports, and delivering presentations
  • Exposure to, or experience of sales and business development

Client Delivery Responsibilities:

  • Lead or deliver operational excellence initiatives in one or more functional areas e.g. finance function, HR, IT, operations, customer service, claims, underwriting and risk
  • Lead or support the delivery of AI enabled operational excellence projects, ensuring they are aligned to client objectives and timelines
  • Conduct assessment of current ways of working, and identify opportunities for improvements using a mix of AI and non-AI related tools and methods
  • Design and implement solutions in the relevant functional area
  • Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standard
  • Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to different stakeholder groups

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain effective and trusted working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless solutions
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and proficiency in the use of MS Office tools

Practice and Self Development Responsibilities:

  • Provide insights and recommendations on best practice operational excellence approaches and for leveraging AI in financial services, with a specific focus on insurance
  • Stay up to date with emerging trends and innovations in AI and operational excellence

Practice Development Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of intellectual property, tools and methods related to operational excellence and AI enabled change and transformation
  • Ability to contribute to and shape team operations and support growth and development
  • Committed to continuous learning and improvement for both self and team
  • Support sales and business development activities
