Purpose of the role

We are looking for an individual to join our Financial Reporting Team to provide efficient, reliable and proactive service to a growing client base. Our team is evolving and we are looking for an individual who we can develop and grow with us.

We are looking for an individual who:

  • Is able to work within a team, ensuring seamless external client service and internal requirements of the Audit and Corporate Tax department;
  • Has a high level of attention to detail and will take ownership of processes and workflows;
  • Has a flexible and professional approach;
  • Is able to work efficiently and accurately within a fast-paced environment;
  • Can demonstrate strong communication skills with clients;
  • Is able to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders;
  • Has excellent time management and organisation skills and able to work to deadlines.

Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Assisting in the preparation of statutory accounts and required disclosures under a range of reporting standards
  • Liaising with managements and other departments within the firm to ensure client requirements are met and a high-level quality of service;
  • Identifying key areas of judgement and provisioning;
  • Being able to identify client specific key risk’s and areas of judgement;
  • Understanding the regulatory requirements of each reporting standard and keeping up to date with any changes to regulations;
  • Any other ad-hoc support;
  • On the job training will be provided where required

During your apprenticeship you will work towards the ACA qualification, providing the foundations for your development, and giving you the qualifications and tools, you need to succeed in your career.

You will be supported throughout your studies by our People Development team at Crowe, and a talent coach from your study provider.

Our minimum requirements  

BBC (or 112 UCAS points) from three A Levels (or equivalent)

GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and English Language
