Job description

We’re looking for an energetic, resourceful and creative Social Media Senior Executive with a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling via our key social media channels and platforms.

Reporting to the Head of PR and Digital Content, you will work across our national sector, service and people content initiatives, helping to increase brand awareness and client engagement through the promotion of our partners, people, sectors and services.

The ideal candidate will be extremely efficient and bring creativity and passion to the role, with excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, and who works well as part of a team.

Responsibilities;

Strategy and reporting

  • Working with the Head of PR and Digital Content to set measurable goals for campaigns and our platforms.
  • Input into and help to deliver the national social media strategy with associated targets, KPIs, tactics, tools and processes across each platform.
  • Identify medium and long-term needs of the firm in terms of new social media platforms, artificial intelligence and usage via research, development, and working with third parties.
  • Produce quarterly engagement and performance reports to be shared with the firm, as well as campaign-specific reports for marketing leads, identifying successes and areas for improvement.
  • Working closely with our external agency to help develop automated data capture, analyse social media engagement and performance, identify training requirements and further develop engagement processes.

Training and development

  • Working closely with our external agency and internal Learning and Development team to manage the delivery of social media training.
  • Write, develop, and produce firmwide training and best practice tips and guides via in person sessions, 121s and our internal training portal. Audiences will be new joiners, current employees and partners who are at beginner or intermediate level with their social media knowledge.

Platform and Content Management

  • Manage and grow Crowe UK’s social media accounts with planned campaigns, evergreen and filler content.
  • Create and deliver a social media content plan and strategy to support sector and service line marketing, and the firm’s employer value proposition.
  • Create social media assets for each post in line with the digital brand and quality control processes – proofing, editing and enhancing performance.
  • Identify content opportunities to drive engagement and ensure share of voice.
  • Working with stakeholders to advise on best practice and trends to create relevant, engaging and effective posts.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends.
  • Amplifying social media content from Crowe Global or other member firms where it is relevant to our sectors/service lines.
  • Reinforce the Global Social Media policy and address non compliance issues.
  • Identify the latest trends in the digital and social media landscape – platforms, engagement, experience, performance and tools.
  • Collaborate with the website team to ensure social content and website experience is coordinated and effective.
  • Monitor and respond to client and our people’s comments on social media posts
  • Effectively build and manage stakeholder relationships through knowledge sharing and expectation management.
  • Monitor mentions/engagements to identify opportunities, escalate issues, and support with crisis communications where necessary.

Act as a brand guardian, ensuring consistency and compliance in the development of all social media content.

Team support

  • Attend regular team meetings and catch-ups to identify social media content requirements and helping brainstorm new campaigns.
  • Where required, attended and cover social media at events, such as EDI events, People awards (Pinnacles), networking/alumni, and national sector events.
  • Work closely with Crowe Global’s Senior Social Media Executive to share knowledge.

  • Great communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders, creatives and departments.
  • Strong leadership to successfully train and develop people and teams.
  • Good networking skills to form relationships with influencers and other key players.
  • Solid knowledge of operating systems and software programmes to support and uplift our social media platforms.
  • Works well in a team, with an ability to manage and prioritise own workload.
  • Confident with an ability to manage challenging situations with diplomacy and discretion.
  • Excellent at reporting, analysing and interpreting data.
  • An eye for detail and emerging trends.
  • Proactive as well as responsive.
  • Excellent organisation and project management skills with the ability to multi task to a high standard to meet strict deadlines.
  • The ability to think strategically and creatively, converting copy into compelling social media content.
  • Team player who takes initiative, can handle fast paced environment and is confident working by themselves and within a team.

Qualifications/experience

  • Experienced in social media management (Essential)
  • Experienced with all social media channels (Essential)
  • Experienced with the full Microsoft Suite / Teams (Essential)
  • Experienced with Adobe Suite (Essential)
  • Experienced with Hootsuite, Jitter, Canva, and various social media support platforms (Desirable)
  • Previous professional services experience, preferably accountancy (desirable).
