Teacher of Maths

Derby College Group (DCG) are looking for an enthusiastic part-time Maths Teacher to join our Cross College delivery team to deliver GCSE and Functional Maths. We are looking for dedicated and motivated professionals who are ready to deliver an outstanding experience to our students.
The hours for this post are 14.8 per week however more hours are likely to become available.
The Opportunity
You will be a dedicated and motivated professional, providing outstanding Maths teaching and learning to our 16-19 cohort. The ideal candidate will be delivering both GCSE and Functional Skills Maths to a wide range of students. Strategies for effective behaviour management are also required, as we support a wide range of curriculum.

About you
You will be an enthusiastic, flexible and innovative teacher with experience of delivering Maths, preferably in a FE context. You will be qualified at degree level in Maths or a related subject. In addition, you will hold a recognized Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or working towards achieving this.
