Derby College Group (DCG) are recruiting a Customer Service Assistant/Receptionist to join our Student Services team based at our historic Roundhouse Campus in Pride Park, Derby. The Opportunity
As the first point of contact, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and lasting impression whether greeting visitors, supporting students, or assisting staff and external partners. By delivering outstanding customer service, managing enquiries efficiently, and maintaining a friendly and approachable manner, you will help uphold the College’s reputation for excellence and inclusivity.

About you
You’re a friendly and professional individual with excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills. Confident using IT and handling enquiries, you stay calm under pressure and adapt well to changing situations. You work effectively both independently and as part of a team, with a good understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and administrative procedures. Ideally, you bring experience in reception or customer service and hold—or are willing to work towards—an NVQ Level 2 in Customer Service or Administration.
