Derby College Group (DCG) are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Quality and Compliance to lead and enhance the quality assurance and compliance agenda, ensuring excellence in education across the College.
The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the College’s quality Improvement and compliance agenda, driving continuous improvement in teaching, learning and student outcomes. Reporting to the Vice Principal – Quality of Education, you will oversee self-assessment, curriculum planning, student achievement and inspection readiness, while ensuring robust quality processes across all provision types. You’ll play a key role in fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation, ensuring the College is well-positioned for future success and inspection.

About You
You’ll be a highly organised and strategic professional, with excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail. With a PGCE (or equivalent), degree-level ability and IQA expertise, you will bring significant experience in driving quality improvement within further education. You will be confident analysing data to inform action, influencing change, and leading quality assurance processes, while demonstrating a strong understanding of Ofsted, curriculum development and compliance requirements.
