Derby College Group are recruiting a Workplace Engagement Co‑ordinator, based at our Roundhouse Campus on a part‑time basis. Joining our Quality of Education team, you will play a key role in strengthening both employer and employee voice, ensuring meaningful feedback informs our improvement plans and enhances the overall experience for students, employees and industry partners.

The Opportunity

In this role, you will play a central part in embedding both employer and employee voice into the heart of our quality improvement activity. You will lead the planning and delivery of feedback gathering activities, from surveys to focus groups, ensuring we capture meaningful insight from employees and industry partners. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will analyse feedback, identify key themes, and translate these into clear, actionable improvements. Your work will directly influence the design and delivery of our programmes and enhance the experience of students, employees and employers alike.

About You

You will be confident working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, from senior leaders to teachers and employers. You bring creative thinking to design engaging ways of capturing both employer and employee voice, along with the organisational and communication skills needed to turn feedback into meaningful insight. With strong IT skills and the ability to produce high‑quality, accessible reports, you work effectively both independently and collaboratively. You’ll understand education provision, confidentiality, safeguarding and inclusive practice, and hold Level 2 English and Maths alongside a Level 3 qualification in Business/Business Admin, Marketing, Digital, Customer Service, or a related specialism.
