Repairs Surveyor - East (M25 Corridor, Milton Keynes and Suffolk)

Our in-house access experts, the Centre for Accessible Environments, provide consultancy, training, research, and publications on building design and management to meet all user needs, including disabled and older people. About the Role
We are looking for a fully qualified Repairs Surveyor to support the Senior Repairs Surveyor and Habinteg, in efficiently and effectively delivering maintenance services to your specific region. This will include responsive, cyclical and major repairs to both tenanted and void properties. The primary responsibility will be to diagnose maintenance requirements, ensure a good quality and Health and Safety compliant works delivered, and to escalate any contract management performance issues.
About You
We are looking for an experienced professional who has sound knowledge of building and Health and Safety at work legislation, as well as procurement routes and construction practices. You will be part a small team and travelling frequently, so time-management and good organisational skills will help you plan out your work.
Excellent customer care and communication skills are essential for this role. You will need to be calm in your nature and confident in your practices. There will be travel involved and the occasional emergency call out, a clean driving license is essential as well as a clear Standard DBS.
