About the Role

  • Provide a safe and nurturing environment for our residential students.
  • Provide a visible presence on campus and deal with incidents in a sensitive, empathic and supportive manner.
  • Enhance the experience of students in residential halls, developing a sense of community and providing first level pastoral and wellbeing care for students.
  • Form trusted relationships with our students, supporting them whilst also setting boundaries.
  • Whilst the main focus of this role is student related, the post holder is responsible for the safety and security of the Hartpury estate, property and people.
  • Hours will be on shift pattern 2000 – 0800 hours.

About You

  • Experience of working within a similar role.
  • Passion and drive to promote independence and wellbeing support to our residential students.
  • Be adaptable and able to work under pressure.
  • Demonstrate patience and resilience within a challenging and rewarding environment.
  • Ideally qualified in a residential support/health or social care qualification or equivalent.
