About the Role

Hartpury University is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our quality and enhancement agenda. As Deputy Academic Registrar (Quality and Enhancement), you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our academic provision, ensuring it meets the highest standards and delivers an outstanding student experience.

In this role you will be:

  • Leading the development and implementation of quality assurance and enhancement frameworks.
  • Advising senior leadership on sector-wide developments and regulatory changes.
  • Representing Hartpury with external bodies and contributing to national conversations.
  • Developing academic policies aligned with QAA, OfS, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Providing guidance and training to staff on quality processes.
  • Producing high-quality reports and supporting strategic decision-making.
  • Managing a team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

 

About You

  • Proven experience in academic quality assurance within UK higher education
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, organizational and IT skills
  • The ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and guidance to produce considered recommendations
