About the Role

Hartpury University is seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to lead our quality and enhancement agenda. As Deputy Academic Registrar (Quality and Enhancement), you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our academic provision, ensuring it meets the highest standards and delivers an outstanding student experience.
In this role you will be:
- Leading the development and implementation of quality assurance and enhancement frameworks.
- Advising senior leadership on sector-wide developments and regulatory changes.
- Representing Hartpury with external bodies and contributing to national conversations.
- Developing academic policies aligned with QAA, OfS, and other regulatory requirements.
- Providing guidance and training to staff on quality processes.
- Producing high-quality reports and supporting strategic decision-making.
- Managing a team and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
About You
- Proven experience in academic quality assurance within UK higher education
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication, organizational and IT skills
- The ability to interpret and apply complex regulations and guidance to produce considered recommendations
