About the Role

  • Provide high-level administrative and governance support to the Estates, Sustainability & Environment (ESE) Management Team.
  • Support the Director of ESE in the effective coordination and operation of departmental activities and priorities.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation and knowledge management systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate compliance, audit and governance activities, ensuring statutory and organisational requirements are met.
  • Lead and monitor risk management and business continuity processes across the department.
  • Support financial administration, performance reporting and the monitoring of key departmental objectives.
  • Line manage the Estates Service Desk Administrator, Data and Systems Officer, and Grounds and Maintenance Officer, providing leadership and support to ensure effective service delivery.

 

About You

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage complex documentation, competing priorities and deadlines.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach, ensuring accuracy and high standards across all areas of work.
  • Experience supporting compliance, governance, statutory or regulatory requirements within a professional environment.
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service and providing effective support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience working within Estates, Facilities Management or another regulated environment would be advantageous.
  • A collaborative and adaptable professional who enjoys working in a busy team and contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
