About the Role
- As a key member of the college’s administrative and information systems team, this role is dedicated to the effective implementation and management of ProMonitor and ProPortal, ensuring the availability of accurate and timely data to monitor student progress and support decision-making across curriculum teams.
- This position plays a crucial role in training and supporting staff, working closely with college managers to maintain high-quality reporting solutions, and assisting teaching teams in using ProMonitor to meet their curriculum needs.
- Additionally, the role requires collaboration with external software providers for data requests, maintaining system security and user access, and overseeing data extraction and integration with internal and external platforms.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach is essential in managing documentation, refining processes, supporting electronic integration with UNIT-e, and contributing to inspection and verification processes.
- This role is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effective implementation of the college’s internal verification process, collaborating with college managers to guarantee that all verification activities are conducted promptly and in strict accordance with established procedures.
- The role may also include some additional administration tasks to support college managers.
About You
- You thrive in a structured environment where accuracy is paramount and take pride in maintaining confidentiality while ensuring the integrity of college records.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word, with strong computer literacy and data entry skills, ensuring accurate, secure management of datasets and confidential college records.
- You will be skilled in training colleagues on ProMonitor and ProPortal, and proactive in collaborating with staff and external providers to enhance curriculum support and drive continuous improvement.
- Ideally, you will have experience in further education assessment practices with an understanding of the verification and compliance requirements within a college setting, ensuring processes run efficiently and effectively.
- Experience in a Further or Higher Education environment, particularly within Management Information Systems (MIS), would also be advantageous in enhancing your impact within the role.
- Additional qualifications like ECDL or Level 2+ NVQ in Administration, plus experience in Further/Higher Education MIS, organisational skills, and understanding of educational data processes, would be advantageous.
