Role Purpose

  • Provide technical support and assistance to our on-site and remote Lawyers and Central teams in provision of legal services
  • To resolve technical issues relating to the firm’s IT systems, including troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues.

Key responsibilities

  • Respond to all user queries via email/Teams, phone or face to face.
  • Identify the issue, provide a clear and effective resolution or escalate to the Senior analyst/Quiss as and when necessary.
  • Update the ticketing system, ensuring the call has been logged and all notes, progress and required actions have been input promptly and accurately.
  • Continuously improve knowledge and understanding across the various software and hardware technologies supported by the team.

Person specification

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical users. The track record of building relationships and fostering trust with non-technical users through precise, empathetic, and patient communication.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Enjoys IT problem solving
  • Able to prioritise key tasks and create an effective time management programme
  • Keen to develop relationships internally and externally, excellent customer service approach with strong interpersonal skills.

Technical knowledge

  • Problem solving IT skills
  • We will support career development and training such as the MCP Certification
