Electrical Engineer

We are hiring an Electrical Engineer at our state-of-the-art Paint to Order factory in Thorne, Doncaster. This modern manufacturing facility specialises in creating bespoke kitchens, offering customers the flexibility to personalise colour schemes and finishes. This role is vital in keeping our site running smoothly through preventative maintenance, improvement project work and breakdown repairs.

Pay rate | £49,263.24 per annum

Shift pattern | Days - Monday to Friday (Mon to Thurs 7.30am-4pm, Fri 6am- 2pm)

  • What would you be doing as an Electrical Engineer:
  • Proactive and preventative maintenance
  • Reactive breakdown maintenance
  • Continual improvement projects
  • Ownership and development of the specific production line maintenance
  • Supporting and engaging with lean manufacturing techniques

Key skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and maintaining automated paint application systems controlled by PLCs within a production line.
  • Demonstrated expertise in high-volume automated manufacturing equipment, including hands-on fitting and fabrication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to identify root causes of equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment within a high-volume automated manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with computerised maintenance management systems (CMMS) and experience in developing and optimising maintenance tasks are a plus.
  • NVQ Level 3 is essential.
