We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious and inspiring Curriculum Lead to join the Defence Technical Excellence College (DTEC) and Air & Space Institute (ASI). This is a unique chance to lead and shape curriculum provision within one of only five national Defence Technical Excellence Colleges, helping to develop the next generation of talent across air and aviation, space, digital and cyber, and advanced manufacturing sectors.
We are seeking a proven leader with a strong track record of successful teaching, curriculum leadership and impactful quality improvement, alongside the ability to raise standards, improve learner outcomes and drive excellence in teaching, learning and assessment. Successful experience of teaching within Further Education is highly desirable, particularly within engineering, advanced manufacturing, aviation, and aerospace. You will bring the credibility, passion, and expertise to inspire staff, support learners, and lead continuous improvement across a high-profile and nationally significant curriculum area.
Working closely with the Curriculum Director, you will play a pivotal role in delivering outstanding learner outcomes, leading quality assurance and improvement activity, developing staff performance, and supporting the continued growth and success of DTEC and ASI. Working closely with industry partners, employers, and education professionals, you will lead the development of a priority curriculum that inspires learners and equips them with the skills needed to succeed in high-growth sectors.
