We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate to join our team providing the highest quality educational experience in the Technical and Professional Construction and Civil Engineering area ensuring excellent learner outcomes, progression and experience.
The role includes delivering across a range of Level 3 and above programmes in the Technical and Professional Construction and Civil Engineering area supporting curriculum development and contributing to the wider college community, employer engagement and enrichment activities
By using vocational knowledge and experience to deliver teaching, learning and assessment you will inspire students and prepares them for progression to employment in the sector or higher education.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- To deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment (face-to-face, online and blended).
- To be responsible for course delivery, course management and learner success rates within the subject area.
- To maintain high standards of teaching and learning through peer review, observation and reflective practice.
- To undertake some Apprenticeship Assessor duties including progress reviews and learner portfolio support.
The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Skills for Construction, along with a Certificate in Education, PGCE or equivalent.
In addition, being able to demonstrate initiative, organisational skills, attention to detail and a flexible approach to the needs of the team will be highly advantageous.
