Initially for 2 hours per week, with the potential to increase to 4.
£19.06 per hour
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic candidate to joining our team providing quality teaching to our students studying English courses, starting in August/September 2026.
The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering Functional Skills or ESOL, along with an English qualification above level 3, plus a teaching qualification.
Duties will include, but not be limited to:
- Contribute to delivering learning, assessment and teaching across English programmes – with a specific focus on (but not limited to):
- Functional Skills English Entry Level 1 - Level 2
- To support student progress through tuition, assessment and guidance
- To complete and maintain student individual learning plans and other records connected to learning and progression.
- To be responsible for the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children wherever applicable within the role.
In addition, being able to demonstrate initiative, organisational skills, attention to detail and a flexible approach to the needs of our learners will be highly advantageous.
