Location: Hybrid between our Mariner House, Dartford office, being out on site and your home  

Hours: Full time, 35 per week

Salary: £32,726 - £40,908 per annum plus a Car Allowance of £2,329 per annum

Contract: 1 x permanent vacancy and 1 x 12 month maternity cover vacancy

We’re looking for two Building Safety Coordinator’s to work in our Fire and Electrical team to help keep our homes safe and compliant. If you’ve got an eye for detail, a proactive approach and an interest in property compliance, we’d love to hear from you.

What will I be doing?

You’ll play an important role in supporting the smooth delivery of our building safety programmes. Day‑to‑day, you’ll be:

  • Helping to deliver risk‑based servicing and remedial programmes across our Fire and Electrical risk areas.
  • Liaising with contractors, consultants, and customers to make sure work is carried out safely, smoothly, and to a high standard.
  • Keeping an eye on performance and progress - reporting on contractor activity, service delivery and programme updates.
  • Maintaining and updating our property management databases with accurate, high‑quality information.
  • Supporting with the handover of new properties by interpreting technical information and uploading relevant data into our systems.
  • Playing a key role in developing policies, procedures and processes for the Building Safety team.
  • Ensuring all data and records meet legislative, governance and best‑practice standards.

What do I need to bring?

  • A good standard of education, with strong literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience of using database systems and project management tools, with the ability to extract data and create reports.
  • Basic knowledge of construction technology and contract administration.
  • Awareness of planned property maintenance.
  • A general understanding of Section 20 requirements and electrical servicing.
  • Confident in the use of the MS Office suite.
  • Ability to find and interpret numerical/graphical information.
