Role: Senior Business Process Analyst

Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Salary: Up to £68,000 per annum (salary offered dependent on experience)

Contract: 12-month FTC

We are on the lookout for a Senior Business Process Analyst with at least 3 years’ experience in the Housing sector and good knowledge of repairs operations practises within a Housing Association. You will be joining our Transformation & Insight team working on a specific project.

You will be working both independently on discrete assignments and under the direction of Head of Delivery and Change or Programme Manager, conducting detailed business analysis to aid the successful delivery of key projects within our Future Repairs Programme and driving continuous improvement across our organisational processes.

We support agile working, so you’ll be provided all IT equipment to work flexibly between your home and at our Dartford office.

Your key tasks will include:

  • Documenting current state processes and conduct relevant analysis to identify inefficiencies and potential areas for improvement, in line with Moat’s business process mapping standards,
  • Collaborating with colleagues by capturing desired future state processes and their associated business requirements that align with our organisational goals.
  • Designing and delivering targeted process reviews using lean methodologies to streamline processes, reduce waste, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Conducting thorough and in depth data analysis to identify trends, root causes of issues, and support future state requirements and project benefits measurements.
  • Developing engaging stakeholder sessions to gather requirements, communicate findings, and facilitate the implementation of process improvements.
  • Leading workshops with all levels of the organisation, including Leadership teams, and offer challenge to current accepted ways of working to support improved outcomes for customers and the business.
  • Collaborating with third party suppliers to co-create future processes that are efficient and support a first-class customer experience
  • Supporting project delivery via creation of business process requirement specifications and use cases, User Acceptance Testing plans and test scripts to ensure solutions meet defined requirements and are aligned with business needs.
  • Working collaboratively with technical resources including Data Analysts, CRM Analysts, and Technical Business Analysts to feed business requirements into technical specifications.

 

We're looking for someone who has:

 

  • Accredited business analyst professional, with minimum 3 years’ experience within the housing sector.
  • Experience of leading workshops with Senior Leadership teams.
  • Good knowledge of repairs operations practices within the Housing sector.
  • An ability to challenge current ways of working at all levels of the business.
  • An ability to assimilate information at pace, creating structured and clear process documentation, requirements, user stories and test scripts.
  • An ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Flexible and adaptable skills.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills; detail oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident writer and presenter.
  • Good problem solving, numeracy and analytical skills.
  • Proactive and curious mind set.
  • Experience in data analysis including usage of analytical tools such as google analytics and power BI.

 

It is beneficial, but not essential if you also have:

 

  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills; excellent at managing relationships with colleagues.
  • An analytical and problem-solving mindset with the ability to encourage teams to think ‘out of the box’ and consider new ways of working.
  • Experience of working at a senior level within a Transformation or Project Management team.
  • A proven track record of delivering repairs related projects in the housing sector.
