Role Title: Neighbourhood Housing Assistant (Housing Administrator)

Location: Stanhope, Ashford. This role offers agile working. You’ll be required to work from the office three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) and the remainder from home.

Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and making a real difference in your community? We’re looking for a proactive and organised individual to join our centralised team of Neighbourhood Housing Assistants. In this role you’ll be based at our Stanhope office where you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality customer liaison, administration, and reception services. As the first point of contact for customers and visitors, you’ll handle tenancy and neighbourhood queries with professionalism and care, helping to ensure a positive experience for everyone who interacts with us.
What we’re looking for?
We’re looking for someone with good written, verbal, and numerical skills. You should be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and have experience in office administration, including organising systems, records, and files.
An awareness of the social housing sector and current issues is important, along with some understanding of housing management processes such as payments, arrears, repairs, transfers, and mutual exchanges.
We value individuals who are customer-focused and committed to delivering a great experience every time. You’ll need to be organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including handling CRM queues, emails, and reception duties. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both internal and external stakeholders are essential.
