At Moat, our people are at the heart of delivering safe, high-quality homes and services that help our customers thrive. By supporting and empowering our colleagues, we create an environment where innovation and great service can flourish.
We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join our Data & Technology team and play a key role in advancing our data-driven approach. This is an excellent opportunity to work across business intelligence and data engineering initiatives, supporting the delivery of trusted, high-quality data products and insights.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver effective BI and data solutions that support Moat’s operational priorities and strategic objectives. You will translate business needs into clear, structured technical and data requirements, enabling the delivery of reliable reporting, robust data models, and AI-ready data products that support emerging use cases across analytics and automation.
We are seeking a technically capable and analytical individual who enjoys solving problems and working with data to support better decision-making.
You will act as the link between business stakeholders and data delivery teams, supporting the development of BI products and data solutions. Your work will include requirements gathering, data analysis, data modelling, and testing, alongside contributing to the improvement of organisational Data Governance, helping to define data standards, quality rules, and acceptance criteria. You will help ensure data products are trusted, well-governed, and aligned to user needs, supporting confidence in data across the organisation.
You will also contribute to continuous improvement and effective delivery, supporting planning activities and ensuring work aligns with organisational priorities and best practice.
Knowledge of the housing sector and experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is desirable but not essential. Experience with business intelligence tools (such as Power BI) and modern data platforms (e.g. Microsoft Fabric) would be advantageous.
