Building on our continued success, we are looking for an experienced rail professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Asset Management in New York

This role will see you lead on the delivery of asset management advisory services in a multidisciplinary consultancy environment, helping to grow our presence on the East Coast and North America as a whole.

Key Accountabilities

  • Identifying and defining asset management policies, strategies and processes which enable the future efficient operation of the client’s transit / railroad system.
  • Developing asset management strategies in the context of the overall business strategy, communicating and influencing implementation to meet the strategic business requirements of clients.
  • Developing specifications, policies, procedures and management reports covering key areas. This will involve working with clients to ensure all relevant procedural and legislative requirements are fulfilled and to ensure efficient, effective and safe working always.
  • Providing advice and support to clients in the procurement of an asset management information system.
  • Planning and implementation of asset management and reliability improvement projects.
  • Regularly undertaking assessments of emerging system maintenance and renewals strategies and their impact on their overall rail service objectives.
  • Managing priorities and delivery of the project to exceed client expectations.
  • Developing and delivering assigned projects, on time, to budget and to other agreed success criteria.

Job Skills, Experience & Qualifications

You will have a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience. Significant experience in railway asset management and maintenance, while having a sound understanding of relevant engineering standards and processes and ISO 55001. You will be experienced in project management and have the necessary skills and experience to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders and working closely with clients, and other professional staff across multi-disciplinary business groups

  • Experienced in developing, implementing and managing systems and processes.
  • Significant experience and knowledge of transit asset policies and approaches to asset management, infrastructure maintenance and reliability, with deep knowledge in at least one asset category.
