Building on our continued success, we are looking for an experienced professional to join our team in Sacramento as a Program Integration Manager.

You will work under the general direction of the Director Network Integration and Program Compliance, serving as the Network Integration Manager. The Network Integration Manager supports the program integration team, provides programmatic and systems level oversight, and coordination with the Rail Delivery Partner executive team and the Authority and regulatory bodies for optimal program operation.

The Network Integration Manager works in the Rail and Operations Delivery Branch of the California High-Speed Rail Authority’s Office of Program Delivery.

Key Accountabilities

You will support the development of Integration and coordination requirements and implement the process through CHSRA, while Integrating various engineering interfaces, ensuring specification compliance, and supporting the oversight of the entire engineering and construction life cycle, utilizing system engineering principles to provide validation that all requirements have been properly satisfied. Responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the project including coordination of technical disciplines, quality of designs and adherence to schedule.

  • Supports the development of requirements management through all the contracts and manages the verification and validation process through the program up to the acceptance and certification of the HSR system
  • Provides support to the development and fulfillment of Reliability, Availability and Maintenance plan through all the contracts and provides objective evidence to the Client confirming that the defined Service Quality criteria and RAM performance can be met.
  • Supports the Director of Network Integration and Program Compliance by leading and managing the team of system engineering managers and specialists. Reports on the team delivery submission and objectives fulfillment

Job Skills, Experience and Qualifications

You will have relevant knowledge of System integration on rail projects including civil, structural, vehicle, train control, traction power and communications subsystems along with experience with System safety, certification, and assurance. Knowledge of Interface management, requirements management, compliance, verification and validation, and RAMS, while having knowledge of Operational security, regulatory approvals and operational and maintenance requirements and procedures.

You’ll have the ability to lead of a team of senior specialists and managerial staff with proven capability in obtaining resolution in a collaborative setting and without formal authority over participants.

  • Master's Degree – Technical, preferred.
  • At least 15-20 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility, closely focused on new and modern high-capacity passenger rail transportation systems
  • Interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to present complex technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way
  • Experience in the Rail Industry, preferred
  • Ability to work across a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with suppliers, contractors, stakeholder’s client representatives, as required) and establish relationships at all levels.
