Edinburgh Crisis Centre supports Edinburgh residents aged 16yrs and over who are going through a mental health crisis or a period of distress.
As a volunteer, you’ll make a difference to people’s lives helping them to learn and develop new skills to support them on their recovery journey.
We are looking for someone with an interest in gardening. No professional experience is required. We have both a front and back garden at the centre and the role would involve weeding, pruning plants, keeping paths clear and tidy and general light gardening work. There is no heavy lifting, and we provide all the required gardening equipment.
There is no minimum or maximum hours in the role, the centre is open everyday so you can volunteer whenever it suits.
We also hold volunteering groups and evenings so you can meet our volunteers in different roles at the centre.
