What is the role?

 

Are you passionate about creating safe, healthy, and sustainable working environments? We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Advisor to join our team in North Midlands and play a crucial role in ensuring compliance and promoting best practices across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and monitor Health, Safety, and Environmental policies across all sites in the region.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Provide training and support to staff on HSE procedures and regulations, fostering a strong safety culture.
  • Investigate and report on any incidents, ensuring corrective actions are implemented to prevent future occurrences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest HSE legislation and ensure full compliance across the region.
  • Work closely with site management and regional teams to drive continuous improvement in HSE performance.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • NEBOSH or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety.
  • Proven experience in an HSE advisory role, preferably within construction or relevant sector.
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving and risk management.
  • Flexibility to travel between sites across the region.
