What is the role?

Persimmon Homes requires a Trainee Project Officer / Partnership Delivery Manager to join our Partnership Homes team, reporting to our Head of Partnership Homes (North). Based in our Nottingham (Mansfield) Office, operating across Persimmon Homes Midlands and North Regions.

The role will include:

  • Engage and complete an internal training programme delivered by the Head of Partnership Homes
  • Assisting the Head of Partnership Homes in seeking offers for our Affordable Homes
  • Supporting the Head of Partnership Homes in researching relevant Local Authority Housing Policies
  • Collating information to support the Head of Partnership Homes in ensuring contracts are exchanged in a timely manner
  • Conducting engagement and relationship management with Local Authorities and RP’s to support our Core Values
  • Supporting the Head of Partnership Homes in building positive and constructive relationships across the Operating Companies within Persimmon

What we need from you?

  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, willingness to learn, able to work under own initiative with good time management skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Communication skills both written and verbal
  • Research skills and attention to detail. Ability to interpret and critically analyse documents to provide concise summaries
  • An ability to influence and negotiate
  • As a minimum educated to A level standard or equivalent
  • Driving Licence is required and an ability to travel regionally and also nationally where required
  • An interest in areas of Housebuilding
