What is the role?

We are now looking to recruit a Construction PA to join Persimmon Homes North Scotland. This role will support  Construction Director/Head of construction , working closely with the regional management and construction teams.

The purpose of this role is to provide a confidential and efficient administrative and secretarial service, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across office and construction functions, and supporting effective communication and coordination between departments.

What you’ll do as Construction Personal Assistant

  • Provide PA support to senior leadership, ensuring the efficient running of office administration and maintaining high standards of organisation and reporting
  • Manage diaries, coordinate meetings, and handle correspondence to maintain effective communication
  • Compile letters, reports, and board documentation accurately and on time
  • Prepare itineraries, arrange travel and accommodation, and take accurate meeting minutes with clear action tracking
  • Coordinate site and office administrative activities to ensure efficiency and compliance with company procedures
  • Manage materials ordering and delivery schedules, maintaining accurate records and stock control systems
  • Liaise with customers, customer care, sales teams, and contractors to support key stages of the customer journey
  • Handle telephone and email enquiries professionally
  • Maintain organised filing systems (digital and physical), supporting a paper-reduced environment
  • Ensure construction drawings and documentation are up to date and compliant
  • Assist with preparation of quotes, invoices, pay less notices, contra charges, and H&S documentation
  • Coordinate company car administration and support compliance requirements
  • Support Finance and HR functions where required
  • Manage customer complaints effectively to maintain brand reputation
  • Oversee general office management, including stationery, building upkeep, staff welfare, and Health & Safety documentation

What experience do I need?

  • Previous experience in a similar administrative, PA, or construction support role (essential)
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with site teams
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information
