What is the role?

This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join the Office Administration Team under the Office Manager. This role will consist of general administration tasks relating to the wider office and duties for the Commercial Department.

The purpose of this role is to provide and perform general administration support using own initiative and self-motivation where necessary.

The role will include:

  • Preparation of regular reports and collection of data to support office management
  • Support commercial team in processing of material and plant hire requests
  • Assist in the coordination of issuing purchase form for clients finishing touches & choices.
  • Order stocks of stationery and signage for our Site Offices and to re-order based on Group purchasing guidelines and to check delivery and invoicing of such items
  • Collating tender packs for issue to subcontractors & suppliers
  • Collate RAM documentation from subcontractors and provide to Construction Team
  • Collate & merge valuation pack for bi-monthly meeting
  • Assist in secretarial duties for the company, including word processing and the use of excel spreadsheets
  • Maintaining an accurate list of all current team members assigned to each development.
  • Manage the diary for the meeting rooms within the offices and to assist in the provision of refreshments where required
  • Provide cover for the front of house team if required
  • All employees have responsibility to ensure their practice adheres with both legislation and the fairness at work policy

What experience, qualifications and skills are we looking for?

  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience in office administration
  • Computer literate with experience of a number of different packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Ability to be well organised, self-motivated with high attention to detail
