Join Our Dynamic Team as a Graduate Group Internal Auditor

Ready to kickstart a career in audit with a twist? We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Graduate Group Internal Auditor to join our fast-paced team. You’ll play a key role in evaluating and improving governance, risk management, and control processes across the Group—working at the heart of the business to make a real impact.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Audit Planning & Execution: Dive into operational and compliance audits, ensuring our audit plan is delivered smoothly and on time.
  • Corporate Governance: Work on core audit and compliance tasks to maintain high standards of governance across the Group.
  • Follow-Up Guru: Help ensure that our internal audit actions are followed up.
  • Special Projects: Lend your skills to audits on construction and health and safety, supporting key areas of the business.
  • Committee Support: Assist in preparing key reports for the Audit & Risk Committee, keeping our leadership informed and on track.
  • Whistleblowing Support: Play a role in delivering the Group’s whistleblowing service, helping maintain a safe and transparent working environment.

Note: Occasional travel across mainland Britain may be required, including overnight stays.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A sharp, professional attitude and top-notch communication skills.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • A flair for producing high-quality, detailed work within deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Global Internal Audit Standards and the UK Corporate Governance Code (a bonus, but not essential!).

Qualifications:

  • A degree in any field—you bring the ambition; we’ll provide the training.
  • Willingness to study for (or already working towards) a recognized professional qualification like CIA, AAT, CIMA, or ACA.
