What is the role?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Administrator to work within the Construction Management team assisting the Construction Secretary to help coordinate key aspects of the department’s operation and procedure – no day is the same in this fast paced department.
This role reports to the Construction Director and would also provide administrative support to the Contract Managers and Site Managers.
Primary Responsibilities
- Produce letters, reports and programmes using Microsoft Office packages, COINS & the NHBC Portal
- Helping to maintain efficient processes and supporting compliance
- Support Construction Meetings and Events
- Assist with the production of site set ups
- Log and maintain Site Toolbox Talks
- Collate Weekly Site Paperwork
- Order Uniform and Stationery for site
- Maintain an accurate and efficient electronic filing and archiving system
- Be familiar with the Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
- Scanning, Photocopying, Printing, Filing and Site Post
What experience do I need?
- Excellent organisation and procedural control, accompanied with a mind-set to learn and develop new skills will be rewarded with an interesting and varied job
- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in Maths and English
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate with colleagues of varying seniority
- Be able to work well as part of a team and able to use own initiative when required
- Professional, with a positive outlook
- Able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines
- Willingness to learn and develop skills and knowledge
