What is the role?

We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Assistant HR Business Partner to join our successful team. In this newly created position, you will report to the Divisional HR Business Partner, and with the support of a HR Advisor you will provide strategic and operational HR services to PLC group functions.

This position will require national travel to attend meetings.

 

The role will include:

Strategic Support

  • Collaborate with the Divisional HR Business Partner to implement HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Provide input and recommendations on HR initiatives and be involved with and manage your own projects.
  • Analise HR data to identify trends and provide insights for decision making.

Employee Relations

  • Act as a point of contract for managers and senior stakeholders for employee queries, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Support the HR Advisor with investigations, disciplinary, grievance and performance management casework.
  • Manage complex ER casework, thorough to the successful conclusion including Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunal.
  • Deliver training and mentor your management teams.

Performance and Talent Management

  • Support the performance management cycles, ensuring consistency and the alignment with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with managers to identify development needs and coordinate training initiatives.
  • Contribute to succession planning and talent development strategies.

HR Policies and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
  • Assist in the development, review and implementation of HR policies and procedures.

What we need from you?

  • CIPD qualified or willing to work towards
  • An experienced true HR generalist
  • A proven history of delivering change
  • The ability to build working relationships with key stakeholders
