What is the role?

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Payroll Team. This role reports into the Payroll Supervisor. 

The purpose of the role is to assist with administrative duties within the Payroll Team. 

What you’ll do as a Payroll Administrator

  • Process and reconcile timesheets and other payroll inputs using the organisation's digital payroll systems, ensuring accurate employee pay and costing data while supporting regional businesses across the UK. 
  • Support payroll administration by processing new starters, leavers, statutory and contractual pay, holiday and absence records, payroll deductions, and HMRC reporting, ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and company procedures.  
  • Investigating and resolving payroll and timesheet queries.  
  • Liaising with local region contacts to ensure timely submission and approval of timesheets and payroll changes.  
  • Supporting payroll processing to meet deadlines.  

What experience do I need?

  • Accuracy and Attention to detail are key to this role. 
  • Numeracy skills are essential.   
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and be flexible in the tasks undertaken. 
  • You must have a positive outlook together with a professional attitude.
