Support Worker

We are pleased to announce we have an exciting opportunity here at Potens for a Support Worker at our Cartref Celtiadd Residential Home. 

Cartref Celtiadd is a warm, supportive residential home for adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs. We’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team and help make a real difference.

Our three-bedroom detached home offers a safe and engaging environment with communal spaces, a conservatory and garden, and a jacuzzi bath. We currently support males aged 40–47 and have a ground-floor bedroom vacancy ideal for someone with mobility needs (level access throughout, though not fully wheelchair accessible).

Located in the heart of Clydach, we’re close to parks, cafés, a bird reserve and only a short drive from the Mumbles coastline, cinemas, bowling and shopping centres.

What you’ll be doing

As a Support Worker at Cartref Celtiadd, you will:

  • Support individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health needs

  • Promote positive well-being and independence in daily life

  • Be enthusiastic and engaged in the hobbies and interests of those you support

  • Help maintain and develop community links through leisure and social activities

  • Support personal care needs where required
